1841 Census

56 missing residents from Pharay, Walls & Flotta are found safe and well in Eday !!!

This came to light when one of our members finaly tracked down one of her ancestors on GRO Online.
The Society had not realised that itīs microfilm copy of the 1841 Walls & Flotta census had no entries for the Island of Pharay. GRO Edinburgh has recorded them with the Pharay in Eday.
Anyone with a copy of the census can download the missing pages here.
